About Us

      "Amazing Monograms" began its first year in business in early 1998. A home-based venture for both my husband, Don, and I, this endeavor provided a creative outlet for each of us. I had retired from the medical profession, and Don was recently retired from the computer industry as an electrical engineer. We decided to combine our interests and efforts to begin this new venture. Don was fascinated by the digitizing process (developing the stitching details of each design), and I enjoyed embroidering these designs on select products. Our focus was to offer our products as gifts for every member of the family and for all those milestones in their lives.

      After purchasing a home embroidery machine, and then a second one, I soon found that these machines simply did not hold up to the many hours of embroidery and monogramming that I was doing. Finally, in January 2002, a 15-needle commercial machine was bought, enabling me to do quality work faster. Now into our tenth year of business, we continue to expand our lines, offering more unique items and many lovely embroidery designs. We have about 23 suppliers from all over the United States. I carefully select items based on quality and diversification and enjoy creating a unique and beautiful end product.

      "Amazing Monograms" can be seen at an average of 24 craft shows each year. This gives Don and me an opportunity to travel throughout our state of Pennsylvania, as well as to some neighboring states. We now have several commercial accounts where our Signature Embroidered Kitchen Towels are sold in gift shops. We also serve as exclusive monogrammers for a very busy local dry cleaner and a recently opened tack shop.

       Although owning our own business means working many long hours, Don and I believe it has truly enriched our life, opening it up to much excitement and fun. During our remarkable business journey, we have met some wonderful crafters and customers. And now, through this website, we look forward to serving even more customers, happily meeting all their embroidery and monogramming needs. We hope you will become one of them.
